  • I should probably get a 3/32 chain too, will help with horrendous chainline.

  • Are they 700c wheels?

  • 27's.

  • Whut? :(

  • As far as I'm concerned it works but please tell me if I'm going to die, I'll make a life insurance policy so the missus and idiot brother are okay.

  • No! Your fine, really. I was just hoping there was an easy way to sort out yr chainline.

  • Ha, don't you hate it when mechanics go 'hmm'. Sinking feeling.

    I think I have a 3/32 chain J, will look.

  • Neat, See you on tuesday then!

    Good times, come on down!

  • Throw in from Cardiff looking for a game on Friday, anyone playing?

Lol. He means he is from cardiff (in wales)

I doubt there will be polo tomorrow, for one it's friday, secondly it's the day before the worlds.

Yuppers, very mindful of both and I knew it was a longshot :)

LOL! I'm still up for the proposed 1 on 1 if you could get your mallet sorted and find a ball. Tennis ball won't do, just too bouncy!

If it doesn't skip off the chainring, just get you and your bike on court with a mallet in your hand. Presto!

  • He has got a horrendous chainline though... ;

Glenn if you want to borrow a mallet and ball for 1 on 1, give me a shout and I'll drop it off tonight.

  • Wicksie, was going to ask what the balls are, would like to get one as I took home the mallet but not a ball. I think I will buy a ball anyway, and hopefully I'll build up a mallet soon. Scouting charity shops for golf clubs....

  • In regards to the polo-loaner, could we not just use a Barclay's Hire Bike? ;D

  • Ha, I will get the bike built. Damn weddings and birthdays eating in to me leisure time though.
    balls? utfs ;)

These aren't great but will suffice.

Make sure you don't get a graphite golf club as it will just shatter. Try Finches in Forest Hill, if you ask very nicely, they might have a ski pole spare.

Tips on mallets, balls and bikes are throughout the polo threads. This place has answers to everything!

  • I owe Wicksie a favor...so soon there will be a red franklin at the beginners night.

  • are there any shops you can buy them in???
    paypal doesnt agree with me

  • Dunno, I'm NYC bound.

  • Nat, get as many as you can carry! :)

  • I've said that. And some black pipe! awesomeness.
I have many balls (!) but I'm certain there are many people who'd be very happy to have these.
