    Strattons are an old established shop (originally it was Claud Butlers main shop) and have had frames from a number of sources - this frame I do not think is one of the Bill Grey ones but it is nevertheless a rather nice late 80s frame. It has had a dent filled in the down tube and two small ones in the seatstays - hence it is only £69.

    This Joe Waugh audax frame (it has clearances for mudguards with 25-28mm section tyres) has been very badly overpainted but it deserves some new paint. It will make an easy fixed or singlespeed conversion. I have had a couple of dents in the top tube filled - it looked as if items had been dropped on the top of the top tube... Hence the bargain price of £69

    This is a really nice Paul Hewitt road frame that has never been built up or used - however the paint is has numerous scratches from being in poor storage. There are however no dents or dings I could find. Columbus Neuron tubing was close to the top of their tubing range in the 1990s and makes for for an excellent stiff and light frame. This frame has vertical dropouts so would not be ideal for use as a conversion. £95

    Holdworth built a variety of frames in their Team colours in the 70s - this is one of their budget frames. It is in sound condition though the paint has seen better days. It will make a great cheap fixed/singlespeed conversion. £49

    This is an extremely nice and light mid 1990s aluminium frame which has hardly been used. It is very light and is in very good condition with just a few marks to the paint. A bargain at £69

    TEAM BRITE MICRO LO-PRO TT FRAME Reynolds 853 c1998 built by Paul Donohue

    This frame is an ex Team Brite micro lo-pro frame that was ridden by Chris Newton around 1998 and is beautifully built from Reynolds 853 tubing. Paul Donohue’s works built all the Team Brite frames and they employed a tig welder who was truly superb - in my opinion he was just as good as the tig welders at Merlin who I had seen working back in 1994. Its a really gorgeous frame which would equate to about a conventional 21.5 in road frame and is designed for use with a long aero seatpost and aero bars of course. It comes complete as shown in the photos with its original bladed carbon fibre forks. It could also be used as a very small conventional road frame due to its short top tube. £175

    This frame from the 1950s has lots of really nice little details and beautifully filed and thinned lugs. I do not know who the builder was and if it was not for the fact that the BB threads are English I might have thought this frame was French. Whatever it’s a nice quality frame built from double butted tubing which would make a cool fixed or singlespeed conversion. £79

    This is a middle range Concorde road frame (disregard the Colnago seat tube decals which are easily removed) which is obviously built from tubing of higher quality than Columbus Aelle (which normally takes a 26.8mm seatpost). Is in very sound condition but has a number of paint scrapes which would respond well to careful retouching. It will make an excellent conversion £89

    This fillet brazed lugless Claud Butler International Club road frame from 1947 is in very sound condition and will look really quite spectacular when carefully repainted. Would make a very cool conversion to fixed or singlespeed. £75

    VISCOUNT AEROSPACE GP ROAD BIKE c1974

    Viscount Aerospace bikes from the 1970s were extremely innovative with lots of parts being built especially for them and offered extraordinary good value for money at the time. They featured pressed-in cartridge bearing bottom brackets (the bearings are quite standard and are easily found if necessary and axles from some American bikes can also be fitted as replacements...). This bike is one of the their earlier bikes which has the aluminium fork - this was said to be unreliable (the Americans called it the ‘Death’ fork!) but does have Viscount 700C wheels with cartridge bearing hubs. The frames were fillet-brazed from a light straight gauge Cro-mo tubing. This one is in good original condition complete with original Viscount chainset, centre-pull brakes, hubs, centre-pull brakes, pedals and bars and stem. £125 REDUCED to £95
