• Or you could just get a thrasher ;)

  • Hi,

I was wondering if anyone who has been using Halo Aerowarrior rims for a while has any feedback on them. I'm thinking of using them on a touring wheelset. I figure if they have held up well to being thrashed about on a trick bike they might hold up well on tour.

    Cheers.

Haven't found anyone selling them either, admittedly I haven't looked that hard, just a quick google search.

  • they are gonna be in in a few weeks time.
ask tokyo fixed gear soonish if you wanna reserve one
alternatively you could try your luck getting one from the US, which might be hard as they have been going crazy for them there

  • does anyone know where the scissor is in stock? pref in uk or europe

  • wanabee name joelovedfixed2

its not a copy of superted
    its a take on superhans

  • It was not meant to imply it was a superted copy, you thought of that.. ! ;)

  • For all those waiting for a scissor,

why not get an identiti persona instead? Looks better to me and costs the same.

  • i hate the look of identitis, those ugly gussets on every frame.. urghhh i had a p45 once, was fucking horrid sold it within 24 hours

havent ridden the fixed gear though, so ignore me

  • Has no one realised the problems involved in using bars with a 22.2mm clamp size? The bars are thinner, which granted does allow for more flex... but you don't want that much flex with steel if your dropping off stuff etc! Flex leads to metal fatigue and metal fatigue leads to breakage. Unless of course you use gusset prison bars because of the bridge which prevents flex, why do you think downhillers amongst others use OS bars, they are generally stiffer and less likely to snap at inconvenient times!

  • Ok, here's my question.

What's the deal with BMX cranks on freestyle bikes? what's the benefit? are the stronger or is it that you can get smaller chainrings. Or is it just fashion?

I've just picked up a volume cutter, but it has 170mm cranks on it. Looking for something with shorter arms, what's my best (cheapish) option?

  • They're stronger. Designed for tricks innit..

    All of these things.

  • I think Id get one of these fitted if I was making a trick bike.
