  • hey!
I need to buy an adjustable spanner or a big one ( to use with BB tool) but I'm new to London and don't know where to find it! Can someone please help me?

    cheers

  • Get on bike, ride to tool shop, enter tool shop ...

If you don't know where your best local toolshop is (you in Hackney?) I know of a large toolshop down hear wapping on The Highway, just ride east from Tower Bridge and it's on your right. There's sure to be a decent toolshop nearer you though.

  • The big Park Tools one can be bought from Cycle surgery, London Fields cycles, Evans, etc.
Or there's a great hardware store called Buck and Ryan near Holborn.
Or Machine Mart (lots of branches)
    or Screwfix lots of branches.

  • I'm in Dalston! do you know any store near?

  • yeah, feels like a troll moment, dunnit?

  • thanks for those who were helpfull

  • Fuck google or any other search engine

Let me just fucking Lfgss that for you

  • yeah, it's easier!

  • This thread / question has to win a prize?

  • Sorry to hijack a thread, but i'm looking for a book:

    Fly fishing - By J.R.Heartly.............!!!!

  • Hahaha, what a quality thread.

    What's the next one goon be?;

"Where's the best place to pump tyres?"

  • OP: You are a spanner. Adjust.

    looks for merge candidates

  • I know it's not helping... what are you going to do? damn you all take internet and this forum too serious. I'm not english, I'm finding kind of lost in this city. And i've been here for only a couple of weeks. I googled it first but didn't came across an answer.... i had to find out what the name of the wrench was in english...

So I came to the place I know where there is the most know how on the matter... I think that's what forums are for. Even if it seems stupid and obvious for you.

One thing I must say If it was on my country's forum, you would get help no questions ask.

Depends whether you want vintage air with lugs or like a modern compact carbon kind of air.
