@ 31t®um : The bay is heavily patroled!
@ M-X : Cool beans. Aren't the 7710s the new 7600s anyway?

New hubs for all.....

These are seriously nice hubs, combined with the Araya rs-430 (430g), it feels weightless and stiff as horse rocking shit, of the japanese horses.

Wally down at Herne Hill jumble does them (7710) for £120 last time i asked.

The Araya are sweeeeet! But I'm looking for something with more of a V/Aero profile. A bit like the Mavic CPX 14 (unmachined wall). Any thoughts?
P.s. 7710s are en route!

Low/small flange 'are meant' to go with deeper rims, i.e. Most Aero wheels come with small flange hubs, compensating the spoke length and providing stiffness. The other way around lacing a box section/low profile rim, larger flange on the hubs, i.e. Keirin wheel set - DA 7600xAraya Gold.

I'd go for CPX 12, I have them laced to Goldtecs

I just missed some CPX 12s on the bay! And they look dope as well...! If you see any, let me know!
Wasn't aware of the HF/LF relationship to rims. Enjoying the learning curve though.
I found this page in the Araya archives, but doesn't give ERD, just spoke length for small flange hub, 3x!
