Anyway, I asked my girlfrien who has an incidence rate of about 100% when in central London (fine out in the burbs) and she very honestly said that she doesn't give much respect to other women cyclists as most of them are terrible cyclists... which started a long conversation, the out come of which was that despite never really talking about it most men respect other men, whilst women despite talking about girl power and stuff actually mostly dislike other women... Or maybe that's a heap of bullshit... As far as I know, she hasn't had other women yelling sexist things and trying to run her off the road.
