Totally. These sessions are really friendly, most people are in the same boat, and polo is really sociable so bring a beer or two for when you're not playing.
This will always be on as even if there are just three of us, we can still practice stuff.
Again, let me know if you need a mallet.
Cheers. -

Make it your own folks. There's nowt worse than polo dying on its arse because people get into a mindset of "I'll not turn up unless I know that everyone else is gonna be there".

Joni please bring a mallet for me, I'll be playing on my new bike after some hacksaw and barcapping action. Can't wait! I reckon I'll be along every week.

Don't worry west will live again... Next time I have a Thursday free... About three weeks time!

• #337
Ok, my and madam brompton will be attending...as long as it isn't pissing it down.
-
• #338
I'll be attending even if it's pissing it down just to get hacksaw and drunk.
-
• #339
Ha, dedication. I probably won't be attending if it's pissing down to be honest. Didn't think through putting that many stickers on my polo bike.
But anyway, it's not going to rain tonight so 6.30pm for those that want to tap around, 7pm throw ins.Sadly the loaner bike isn't ready as I need a drill and an angle grinder, and many other things. sigh.
POLO!

Wicksie, I have a corded drill you're welcome to borrow. Not many bits for it though (that haven't been rounded off by London Bricks >:|).
SniffySniffy has an anglegrinder and lives on my road, so you should ask him if you can borrow, he's a nice enough chap and his kids are fans of bike polo :D
Do you happen to be at home today? I only just got your PM but I'm off today and could come over and get the hacksaw and be done in time for this evening. No worries if not!

I'll be down unless it's tipping it down(which it isn't forecast to) but will I be able to borrow a mallet, as I've never played?
-
• #342
Citygent tis me that has the hacksaw, not Wicksie.
Unless she has one too.Forecast isnt great according to the Met Office but I'll walk up with the hacksaw once it isnt raining.
What do you need the drill & grinder for Wicksie?
-
• #343
Some forecasts say it's going to be ok. We'll see. Keep an eye on the thread nearer the time to see what's happening.
I've spoken to James about the hacksaw and said I'll bring it to polo.
I need the drill for many things, including possibly drilling the brake bridge on the polo loaner. I need the angle grinder to get some old chainrings off. -
• #344
What parts does the loaner bike still need?
-
• #345
I'm not sure at this stage mate, lots of problems which I'm trying to sort out.

Does anyone know if the art installation is still in Peckham Carpark?
EDIT: 30th Sept apparently.
We need another multi story carpark for inclement weather polo. Meh.
