^ wait CE - how can you fit a 20" raleigh and a 22.5" carbon d2 pista - do you have some stretch armstrong limbs?
as you can see i'm trying to find an excuse for you to sell me the d2 :)
-
• #27065
That Raleigh is really very small. Did anyone get the frame number?
-
• #27067
I am a freak!!! LOL!
But the Raleigh is now at the top end of my budget, and with 50 minutes to go, I dont think I am willing to push any further with it and risk over paying...
I was planning to add a pair of strada wheels and campy hubs for the period build bla bla bla but I guess someone will give it a better home (CE is sulking... LOL!!!)

OP: Argghhhhh... In with a don't-regret-it-cos-you-didn't-click-bid... Slighty shy of 300...
Added: White flag flying, throwing in the towel, tail between legs... I'm off for a bike ride...

SOLD - 472 quid
Why didn't someone who wanted it buy at £300 when that offer was on the table.
-

If people think that there is a 1 in a million chance EVERYONE else will forget to bid they'll bid anyway.
Then get panicky when the price rises and just mash the numberpad to win the item. They have forgotten the true value, just get caught up in bidding fever, believing that this item will never be for sale again and that it will complete them when it becomes theirs.
Or they are just stupid.

TBH was there even a BIN? When I saw it, first bid was already in for 0.99, and the BIN was deactivated. Doesn't matter now, it is now off the market and I can keep my dosh... LOL!

The offer was in pm but I couldn't afford it with it being summer and holidays etc, I put it up here to see if anyone else fancied a punt. A little gutted I didn't go for it now, oh well its still summer.
