Canon D7

I know there are quite a few photographers on here, so i was looking for a little advice. I'm looking to upgrade my canon body as i've invested in various lenses over the last few years, but my body is pretty old. I have been looking at the 7D, looking to spend £700-1000 really, and was wondering if anyone was using it and could help answer a few questions i've been unable to find in online reviews. Also, a general idea of what you think of it, the filming, advise on the best memory card to use for smooth filming in HD, and worthwhile optional extras. ie, does it have a built in mic and speaker for video playback?
I'm also looking for a small but solid tripod for traveling with, and a good camera bag suitable for a body, and 3 lenses, so any suggestions welcome

7D is good, the 550D is pretty much the 7D in a less robust/weather sealed body if you want to save a load of money.

Cheers tynan, I didn't realise the 550 shot HD film too, its certainly worth considering as i'm not planning any serious work with it, and like you say, half the price!
