Ice cream ride sounds good, count me in.

Will try scoop and will have to venture out to Hackney to try Skully's suggestion.

How about an ice cream ride this summer?

That would have to include Corelli's in Battersea, if it's still open.

Totally up for this if it happens

Make your own! Take equal quantities of evaporated milk and double cream (eg 1 tin of evap and the same amount of cream). Whip the cream then stir in the evaporated milk. Add half a quantity of good-quality pure maple syrup (eg half a tin). Freeze overnight. No need to beat it halfway through freezing or anything like that. Best ice-cream you've ever tasted, I promise you. You could probably replace the maple syrup with home-made caramel or high-quality fruit jam.

Has anyone tried Scoop.ed in East Dulwich? I was denied by their crappy opening hours yesterday, tea and biscuits < ice cream on a hot afternoon.

If you find yourself in North Devon, try a Hockings. mmmmmm. They only sell vanilla, because it's that bloody good.

Dunstaple Farm is pretty damn fine (double choc and the mint choc chip are winners) and widely available in....err cornwall and devon.

Can recommend Mackies vanilla and a crushed bag of maltesers beaten into it for the midnight supermarketsurfers

I'm definitely going to HCF Cafe next time i'm up. Hear great things all round for that place...not the farm though, but hey.

Lots of ice cream and frozen yoghurt opening up this summer.
