Go on admit it, Danny Dyer still dresses you. ; )

This isn't what I meant.
I meant Fred Perry on ppl with teardrop tattoos below their eye and oxblood docs.Apart from the skinheads, doing up your top button just makes you look like your at school/mum dressed you/your wee pigeon chest is so hairless your ashamed of it.

On the subject of top button:
You can do the top button up of a jacket (providing the jacket works well like this) as long as you leave the bottom button, or two, undone. You can do all of them up only in stormy weather.
Therefore top button on a polo is strictly forbidden, since they don't have buttons all the way down. It's well dodgy. Alan Partridge at a BNP meeting dodgy.

Top button should never be done up on a formal shirt without a tie, and should never be done up on an informal collared shirt.
You may think it looks fashionable, but everyone else thinks you look like a knob, or a cafe creme smoking semi retired coach drive from st helens

its all about tbduops (top button done up on polo shirt).
if i had the figure, i'd do it....also, its all about the showing off of nascent chest hair on full button shirts.
and jumpers bought in oxfam. -

What's an informal shirt? An Oxford or summat?

Anyone know where I can get a decent collarless shirt, not something you'd find in a sunday supplement ad next to the stair lifts. I'm thinking like my old Ben Sherman 'grandad', had square ends to the collar, cream and mixed pinstriping.
I won't be doing the top button up.

My pal Iain hates having collars flapping around so he turns them inwards and sews them in place.* Looks awesome. You get a properly structured collar with no 'flaps' and it you don't look like you've panning for gold either.
- I think his girlfriend does it for him actually (racist)

Levi's had a couple for spring. One cream/stripes and one navy/stripes. Check sale rails in their stores or failing that their Factory Outlets.

Seeing as we've moved onto sartorial advice rather than just piss-taking, I've been wearing braces recently (trousers, not teeth) - does this make me a hipster?
-

I don't rate Folk. In my experience it's pretty overpriced given the quality. And too reliant on gimmicky details.

That's recommendation enough for me...

Do you wear a bow tie aswell? Is that a flower in your pocket?
Vato loco ftw.
