Riding a dutch bike is fine
And you got that one right! Don't know about Amsterdam, but I've been to Assen recently and most of them had those LeMond aero bars on their Dutch bikes. They don't seem slow at all, especially on those bicycle highways in the countryside. Even made my driver parents do a 50 km round trip between Assen and Groningen - they seemed happy, relaxed and all while carrying lots of stuff on the rear racks. That wouldn't be possible on a stinking MTB, would it?
