The shitheap lives!! Only a slightly bent dropout so easy to fix. Taken the 35 off as I'm sure the extra grip had some effect on the velcro so if anyone wants it let me know and I'll bring it on Tuesday. Will be fitting a 28c so the adjustment of the brake bridge will still be useful. Also the sprocket I bought at the jumble doesn't fit on my miche hub (too narrow) so if anyone wants a 20t I'll also bring it along.
Done my diy fix on the straps and it feels much more secure now. Still need to have them professionally sewn rather than my industrial staples but prototypes are never pretty. Will have to get the message to Paula as she has the same ones.
All in all a pretty interesting Saturday. Let's hope for more days like it.
