  • The usual lot will be there. Starts at 2.30

  • Does anyone know if it'll be on today? Ground looks pretty wet.

  • how is the weather at souths now?

  • No rain and drying out. You might be lucky.

  • sky is grey in streatham.

  • That's normal.

  • i've given up and went back to sleep. saving legs for tomorrow
    thanks andy and damo
    see you tomorrow

  • At track; rained off. Heading to Condor to spend money instead!!

  • what are you buying jj??

  • No jumble either, just popped down for some new toe-clips and spotted Jenny on her way out...

  • my money is on energy bars.

  • Correct damo. And gels aplenty. Tried to get EPO and an autotransfusion, but they were out.

Also got new stem for track bike. And had a drool over the carbon frames.

Now eating cake in LMNH; all in all, quite a pleasant morning.

  • And all of the above whilst decked out in full Lycra, ffs. What's become of me?

  • my money went on energy bars.

is this luciano thing supposed to be THAT bad???

  • The funny thing is, the event is sponsored by Power Bar so you can help yourself to bars and gels for free before the start.

like etape caledonia, they said food stops but the were gel powder stops, no food to be seen!

i helped myself to red bull and wiskey at london fields all afternoon, lets see how it goes tomorrow!

  • Pineapples surely?

my meat is tender enough thank you.

  • I'm thinking about coming down to one of the saturday morning newbie sessions in the next few weeks. When browsing through the HH website (the bike section) it says you need 165mm cranks. I'm pretty sure mine are 170mm, i will be riding a condor lavoro so it is meant for the track and not a conversion. Are cranks likely to be meassured or is it time for me to get my wallet out? Also if there's any other usefull info for a track newbie at HH point me in the right direction. Thank's in advance.

  • You'll be fine. It's not steep enough that crank length could be an issue and there is a road bike session there every week just to emphasise that point.

  • That's alright then. I'll leave them on for now but they're gonna need upgrading at some point so i'll be sure to get 165's next time, cheers mate. I'll look foward to getting down there!
