The toe path?
Like a towpath, but somewhat down-at-heel. -

Spelling fail. But let's keep on topic. Brian is injured. Jerks.

Bad luck Brian. Did you trip up on the Torah path or come off your bike?

I don't know Brian, but it's annoying how people are getting top arfs out of his misfortune. Get better soon, Brian.

Is he on here, Horatio? You could direct him to the Clavicle Error thread on the main forum for info and advice.

Dude, can you hold a saucepan? Bummer. Heal up quick.

Bumped into Brian this afternoon. Seemed happy and not in too much discomfort, was on the way back from somewhere so he's up and about. Didn't get a chance to ask what happened as i was in a car at a red light that was going green but it's broken in 3 places/into pieces.
Get well Brian.

thanks for the love friends. This was out canal-side in Park Royal. I was riding my concorde along the toe path in the torrential rain, hit a rut and got kicked off course. Instead of doing a Horatio-dive into the canal, I corrected my path and tried to bring the bike off of the grass and back onto the pavement. There was some wood trim lining the side of the pavement. And as we all know, rubber tyres + wet wood = fun.
collarbone broken into no less than 3 pieces, my heart smashed into more with no polo for the remainder of the summer. doesn't mean I still can't come yell at you fools tho.

Ugh. Three pieces, sounds messy.
What hospital are you going to? Are they going to let it heal on its own?I'm definitely recommending you ask or push your doctor for surgery / a steel plate to sort it out rather than wait to see if it heals correctly on its own... if you check out the thread in the main forum, there's lots of debate about the pros and cons there.

get well soon B
Just got a text from Brian. Looks like he's joined this year's coolest club - one less clavicle.
Not sure on the details, but I think he was trying to copy me a take a dive for the canal, but missed the water and landed on the toe path. He's in hospital right now getting it checked out.
Heal up, Brian!
