  • While I'm not a fan of puppykills, taking the braze-ons off this is no crime.

    And what ever you do, DON'T RESPRAY IT!!!... not because its would be a shame to loose the orgininal paint from such a classic bike, but because there is zero point in dropping £60 on this frame....

    ... also the colours look pretty cool and give it character. Powdercoating has no character.

    Just rub down with some wd40 and wire wool, clean polish, etc. and enjoy it.

    For future reference these things should be posted in current projects.

    What exactly is wd40 and wire wool supposed to remove? Sorry, kind of newfag question, but wouldn't it remove the paint as well?

    Anyway, thanks for your opinion and advices!
