You're a lucky boy (girl) SuperLuca you'll have a very nice Bianchi frame. But the tubing of this one does not get wider towards the bb.
In addition to my last message, on the frame is a sticker of the bikeshop (Godefroot, Gent Belgium) the bike is sold to the first owner ).
And in second addition: concerning red Bianchis, I have another one with steel frame. See picture -

Not saying its not a nice bike, no mater what color its been painted in or if the wheels have been replaced but for me personalty i would like to get a completely original bike as it came out of the factory and this to me isn't quite there, didn't want to offend you but i wanted to say it how i see it.
I owned an old Saronni with campag, brought it for 75 dollars of a guy it had been sitting in his shed, it was only 12 speed but i got a lot of fun from it, its still hanging up in my brothers garage back in NZ.

Thank you Campa, for your kind words. Of course it should be nice if a bike is comletely original. But when you have to replace a component, sometimes you have good luck when you find one in good condition but mostly you have to do concessions. And sometimes you use modern components tires, handlebartape) without (or even enforcing) the original concept.
I think I succeeded to do so with this Bianchi.
Thank you wiganwill for your message. It makes the bike a little special he was sold by the great Belgian cyclist Walter Godefroot.
Still for sale! -

I seem to recall red Bianchis are fairly common

They are. I saw one in my LBS only this afternoon, and it must have been an 80s machine.

I happen to have the same bike in celeste color also with Campagnolo 8 speed (mix Avanti and Mirage). However mine has a Bassano saddle and different rims. I Can't find anything about the 'racing team' frame except on this forum. I'm quite sure it is an original Bianchi. I received some official papers when I bought it in 2005 (2nd hand). Will try to post some pictures of the frame as soon as possible.

almost three years ago dude...
As I said I'm not the first owner, but I'm sure the Bianchi is not repainted. I don't want to spend hours and hours on the net to find out what Bianchi it is. Maybe a Bianchi special made for a special country, team or business organisation? Okay signore Campagnolo, you cannot find this Bianchi on the net. But does that mean it is repainted? And if, why should you repaint a Bianchi in a nonexisting Bianchi? Concerning the wheels: which bike of at least 10 years old has the original wheels? Wheels are the most vulnerable part of a bike. And over the years you'll have to replace the wheels. The wheels on this Bianchi are perfectly harmonizing with the beautiful frame and really in perfect condition.
I think this Bianchi is a perfect Italian design, a composition in red and yellow, and in combination with Campagnolo, a perfect racing team machine. This Bianchi is ciclismo, this Bianchi is emotion. You must have it!
