I'll be coming this evening, a little after 7. I have a 1" stem, but no bolt or quill for it, I'll bring it anyway.

With the brake bodge and foot braking I made it home safe and sound.
Cheers for the games all, once I get a bit better with the ball control and remembering not to try and turn in such a short circle, I can see this being a fun game. Will definitely be down again.

Also (depending on how overkill sniffy's anglegrinder might be) I need a hacksaw or dremel to cut down bars and cut off the braze-ons.
I have to say, this thing is beastly heavy, and the cones have gone in one of the wheels, and it doesn't have a lockring on the sprocket so I've had to loc-tite the shit out of it, but it's SO MUCH FUN!

Wow... For a first polo bike, that you built for aproxamatly nothing, that's amazing! What's the ratio?!

For now, 32/22. But I have a 22 still on the chainset, so it could be an impressive 1:1.
I'm super impressed with it considering I've only spent £25. The black forks you gave me are being snapped up by the missus for her build, hope you don't mind but she did find the ones on my polobike (she remarked about the abandoned bike outside her flat, until she did I hadn't noticed how impressively straight the forks were) .
To anyone that wants, I have parts left over that I'd like to give to polo:
A 58cm Triumph frameset, the forks are bent but could easily be fixed.
Ladies saddle, white and tatty.
RightH STX Lever (canti, V, or centrepull compatible)Where should I advertise this stuff other than here?

32/22 is about perfect (might be too spinny for some... Particularly on bigger courts)...
No problem withusing the black forks, better than bent ones! :)

Just went to the post office on it to buy some milk, they know the Edwardes in there so;
"Shit dude what happened to your bike?!"
lols.

What is betty's name on here, as a by the way?

Citygent, I have a hacksaw you can borrow if desired.
You should plug the bar ends or get some grips for safety.

Yeah I have two corks from wine bottles that should suffice? There are some grips on there already, just in the middle (leaving the bits on the edge I intend to cut off with said hacksaw).
I'll be bringing this on Tuesday so I guess I can get them off you then? If not I'm actually off all day on Tuesday and don't mind having to be somewhere early to get this last bit finished :)
