only 1 out of 5 people i politely requested to do a skid at skyride today humoured me. weak.

not sure who was riding fixed and who was riding SS but spotted:
the black/purple snowflake wheel GBH job
couple of plugs
a nice fuji
and a couple of anonymous black things.

I was there for a bit (to fill my bag with gatorade and watch my mate get a puncture) and was not skidcalled. I would have replied.

But spotted that guy with the GBH bike too.
Saw a few fixed, but hardly with foot retention. Cycled in front of some Manc Wheelers for a bit, fun listening to some ultimate cycle talk.

Market st... Girl (?) with short blond hair pushing a fixed blue genesis flyer...

Tib st... Fixed pashley cream colour 26"? Trick style frame with slack chain.... Presume it was fixed as no brakes... Looked interesting... Anyone here... Rory?

I know, but in a good way. I spotted a few of them but the guys I were in front of sounded pretty cool actually. I was on a black KHS, with a howies sticker on the frame.

Spotted the Giant Bowery FMX.... Bmx cranks with cruiser style chainguard, riser bars with pursuit style brake levers and 23/25c tyres..... A huge brainfart moment from Giant..... WTF....!

Spotted: guy on a cream bike turning right off oxford road onto charles st this morning. apologies for riding like a nob, i was running abit late.

Spotted: guy with yellow rims heading west down moss lane west.

Worse still Adam, they do one of those fuckers in the hallowed pink, white and green 'Klein' paint job as well. Best paint job ever on the worse bike ever. Awful.
