Crucifixi, you can get a brand new wheelset for 90 quid. Therefore 80 is on the high side for a used beater set. Check the WHEELSETS LIST thread.

I'm ridiculously tempted to buy your poo coloured bike. Is that wrong?

Stoop, as much as I want it I can't justify it. And I can only pay in cash anyway unfortunately.
But its appeal is soo strong.

Sorry, if I were to pay £50 they'd need to be complete wheels I'm afraid. Thanks for the heads up though.

I have an old front and SS rear which you can have if you pick them up. They are old wienmann alloy rims. I live out Leatherhead way.

These espresso brand track style wheels are only £70 a pair...bargain
Very, very, very fishy.
No way can 43mm deep profile rims be that cheap as a built up wheelset pair.

a) ew, they so would not match the rust and decay all over my frame.
b) as above, what the hell? The spokes muy be made out of wood or something simular. -

Thanks a lot for the offer, would love these! However have just googled and would cost £20 to get a train to Leatherhead. I will consider but I think it's just a bit too far to pick up. But again, thanks a lot for the offer.
Hi there,
Building myself a beater/polo bike and now require a pair of (700c) wheels. Don't have very much to spend but a fixed wheelset would be lovely. Probably 35-40 quid absolute max on these, but the cheaper the better. Please do let me know what you've got!
Thanks in anticipation!
