Since I've finally got my second CDJ I thought I'd revive this thread. I'm currently looking for a better mixer (bidding on some Vestax and A&H at the moment) but if anyone has anything they're looking to part with let me know. I'm playing techno so not into battle mixers or rotary house mixers or anything like that.
Having previously owned 1200s and a DJM500 in Oz I have to say I fucking LOVE being able to burn any track to a CD and play it. I love that I don't have to spend $20 to get a single track.
The CDJs are great for shit wannabes like me who don't practise enough to actually be any good. They are easier to mix with than using vinyl.
Oh and my back is killing me - these are only a foot off the floor at the moment. Fark.
