this true, nothing will hold it on safely

I've looked at the loctite page and know that it can be held safely until I can afford to replace it as im using a brake and im not skidding.
I'm just after some advice from somebody who has actually used loctite before for this purpose.

will get you a pretty cheap wheel build ....
you can likely re use yr rim and spokes -

i used red loctite before but that was to hold a partially stripped lockring thread, it held but i slapped on both brakes as there was a constant fear of the cog spinning off. It held but it wasnt ideal/safe

Yea, just buy a new or 2nd hand hub and re-build it yourself.
Ok so say you stripped your lockring thread (on hub) and cant afford a new hub/build for a while which loctite would you use to keep the cog on before rotafixing?
Somebody mentioned alraldite (sp?) to me also?
Experiences?
