@WjPrince - have you also thought that they might just tell him to sling his hook?
@BMXconan - you must have an idea in your mind. Your prospective employer will too. If you know anything about your industry, and are half decent, these figures will probably not be very far apart, and then its just down to negotiation. A £5k uplift in your situation doesn't sound unreasonable.
