Where abouts in SW London are you?
There's a free bike workshop place in Southwark, and a new one in East Dulwich to get children through cycling proficiency (or whatever it's called now) and train them how to maintain bikes and ride to school.
There's the accessible bike project in Brockwell Park too.

There is a great volunteer run community workshop on Crampton Street, near Elephant & Castle roundabout, just off the Walworth Road.
They're lovely people and I'm sure would welcome donations. I am clearing out my parts bins this summer and plan to give my unwanted stuff to them too.

Thanks guys, following those links up now.
snowy_again the stuff is in Earlsfield so getting it to Dulwich or Brockwell park would be perfectly feasible.

I'd prefer to give the stuff away in one go but might have a list to post here over the weekend.

Thanks. I was just coming here to freecycle a bike. Think I'll give it to them. Mainly cause I want to have a nosey around the workshop.
I'm having a huge house clearing out. I've got all sorts of tools, components, accessories, car boot racks etc. all of which will shortly end up in a skip unless there's anyone out there runs stalls at cycle jumbles or does one of those community bike refurbishment schemes and would like the stuff.
Sorry it's rather vague, I can provide a list of what I've got if anyone's interested. I don't want anything for it. All the stuff is in SW London.
