The problem people have is using them outside their intended purpose. They were for pursuits and short distance time trials*, where you'd be on the drops 100% of the time.
*Short by RTTC standards, i.e. distance events rather than time events.
And yet people ride track bikes on the street, where in their intended purpose not riding on the drops is disqualification.
I don't like the welded triple triangle on that bike, oh and for a low pro the hand position is very high when using that many spacers so whats the point?
