I put velo orange 'guards on my Yates (the 37mm ones) and I bloody hate them, rattly and utter shite, frankly. There's no way a single stay on a muguard is a good idea. I'm going to adapt some good ol' plastic SKS to be direct fited instead.

Yes - I did this too. They came off again in short order, terribly noisy.
