We've decided to get married in Las Vegas next year, with only one member from either family, and an open innvitation to our friends. When we get back we'll get the upstairs of the Coach and Horses or somewhere similar for a few drinks with people that can't make it. The idea of matching chair covers and sashes makes me shiver.
