So bumping this thread....
Have been engaged for about 18 months, but together for 10 years....
Having looked into the costs and rigmarole of arranging a wedding we are seriously considering doing an old school elope to Scotland to get married.....
Niether of us really like the like the limelight, and aren't really fussed about a big do or presents.
Has anyone here done something like this, will we regret it in ten years time?
At the moment we are saving for a deposit for a house and would much prefer to put the money towards that than a wedding!
