Saw these guys race in the pissing rain last summer when I was staying at Loch Long.

There used to be a fair bit of cash to be won racing grass track on the Highland games circuit. Is that still the case?

The guys were pulling in £50 or £60 per race, but splitting the placings evenly between them.

I've heard rumours of people winning £10 at Herne Hill over the course of a season. We should move north.

Cycling Club Hackney have been doing a lot of grass track racing the past two years.

evan oliphant taking the spoils there, he used to kick my ass when i was at uni in Edinburgh, doesn't surprise me him and lewis are riding and winning grass track too.

No grass except in the track centre, though. :)
