just a quick note now that i'm home and showered with a cup of rosie.
ride of the highest quality. weather was top. company was top. some of those guys were doing their second overnighter in 3 days. Sam braker TT out to farnborough so he must have totaled 125 miles again. jonny new the route perfectly even though he'd recced it once in the day. no mechanicals just a couple of dropped water bottles. wildlife spots were awesome including running with deers, badgers, birds of prey. ludwig is convinced we even saw the mir space station but planet ludwig is a strange place with satchels full of food for an army. to arrive in bath and sit al fresco and tuck into a full english and then walk to the spa was the cream on this cake. we fucking loved the spa like a bunch of provincial school kids on a field trip to kilvrough in wales who get to go to the swimming pool with the wave machine! yummy mummies? didn't really notice...we were the most beautiful people in there.
