I love that Saronni! The head badge had me spitting crisps all over my desk. I think I'd like that in my life, sadly my bank manager disagrees.

The Raleigh looks exactly like a Falcon Black Diamond I had new in 1967- same fork crown, same lugs, same wrap over seat stays- which they made big thing about at the time

Here's a picture of my old Saronni race bike. Loved that baby, did two IoM Internationals on that. Agree with thoughts on the Terry Wogan picture - that came off mine straightaway!
If it doesn't go, let me know. Will take for old time's sake.

is the belgian colnago sold?
Hi everyone,
I’ve just sorted out another lot of interesting and bargain frames and two bikes. Shipping on frames within the UK will be £11 - other items can ship free of charge in the same box. I can ship anywhere in the world at a reasonable cost.
ALL ITEMS ARE IN BRISTOL
Payment can be via bank transfer (preferred), cheque or the dreaded Paypal which costs me 3%…
** If you dib an item, please PM me and pay the same day unless you make other arrangements with me. Otherwise it may well be sold to the next person who wants it...**
AND don’t forget Muswell Hill Cyclejumble, 7th August St Mary with St George Parish Hall, corner of Park Rd & Cranley Gardens, Muswell Hill, London N10 3AH – I will be there...
Viewing/Personal collection is welcome as quite a few have found and have been able to get other parts they are looking for at the same time.

RALEIGH ARENA ROAD BIKE late 1970s/early 80s
Seat Tube (ctt): 53cm (21in)
Top Tube (ctc): 56cm (22in)
Rear dropout width: 120mm
Wheel size: 26 x 1 1/4in (700C will fit easily with closer clearance brakes)
Seatpost size: 25.4mm
Raleigh Athenas were the first racer many had in the 1970s. This one is in very nice condition and is easily converted to 700C wheels where the brake drop is just 53mm. It would make a very straightforward fixed/singlespeed conversion. £85
MARIN BOBCAT TRAIL MOUNTAIN BIKE c1994
Seat Tube (ctt): 52cm (20in)
Top Tube (ctc): 57cm (22.5in)
Rear dropout width: 130mm
Wheel size: 26in MTB
This is a large mountain bike from the early 1990s suitable for riders of 6ft plus. Its been lightly used and would make a very good tough city bike... Its in perfectly useable condition without any work. £95
ADORNI ROAD FRAME 1970s
Seat Tube (ctc): 52cm (20.5in)
Top Tube (ctc): 52cm (20.5in)
Rear dropout width: 124mm
Wheel size: Sprints/700C (brake drop 53mm)
Seatpost size: 26.2mm
This is a rather cool Adorni Italian road frame from the 1970s. Its in very sound condition - the decals are bit marked and there are some scrapes to the paint but it is very useable... And will make a very easy conversion to fixed or singlespeed. £95
RALEIGH ROAD FRAME 1960s/70s
Seat Tube (ctt): 21.5in (55cm)
Top Tube (ctc): 22.25in (56.5cm)
Rear dropout width: 122mm
Wheel size: 27in or 700C with brake drop of 70mm
This Raleigh road frame from the 1960s or 70s is in sound condition with rather scruffy paint and will make an excellent budget conversion. £35 SOLD
SABA ROAD FRAME ** NEW AND UNUSED** Columbus SL
Seat Tube (ctc): 21.5in (55cm)
Top Tube (ctc): 21.5in (55cm)
Rear dropout width: 126mm
Wheel size: 700C/sprint
Brake drop with 700C/Sprint wheel: 47mm
Seatpost size: 27.2mm
Saba were in the 1970s and early 1980s the importers of Columbus tubing and Omas parts and they commissioned their own top quality frames in Italy which they branded as Saba - this frame is in excellent unused condition and comes complete with a Saba headset. Just take a look at the quality of the lug filing and brazing - its obvious they had the connections to find a truly top quality Italian builder. £195 SOLD
SARONNI ROAD FRAME by Colnago ** NEW AND UNUSED** Columbus SL
Seat Tube (ctc): 52cm (20.5in)
Top Tube (ctc): 53.5cm (21in)
Rear dropout width: 124mm
Wheel size: Sprints/700C (brake drop 45mm)
Seatpost size: 27.2mm
Frame tubing: Columbus SL
Saronni was one of the top Italian riders of the 1970s/80s winning the world championships in 1982 and the Giro D’Italia in 1983. To celebrate this Colnago produced this special model - the Saronni Giro D’Italia. This frame is new and unused and is a very rare special Colnago model. It is in excellent condition with one or two small shopwear marks but nothing at all significant. £445
NOT A COLNAGO ROAD FRAME c1983 Belgian built
Seat Tube (ctt): 55cm (21.5in)
Top Tube (ctc): 56cm (22in)
Rear dropout width: 124mm
Wheel size: Sprints/700C (brake drop 55mm)
Seatpost size: 27.2mm
This frame is NOT a Colnago... But it is a nicely made road frame almost certainly made in Belgium - just take a look at the well finished lugs with the unusual diamond shaped windows. The frame has quite a number of marks and a ding to the chainstay - the frame alignment has been checked and is fine. Its obviously built from a high end butted tubeset - the 27.2mm seatpost size is a clear indication of this. It would make a very straightforward conversion. £89
WOODRUP ROAD FRAME c1985 25in
Seat Tube (ctt): 63.5cm (25in)
Top Tube (ctc): 58cm (23in)
Rear dropout width: 128mm
Wheel size: Sprints/700C (brake drop 46mm)
Frame tubing: Reynolds 531C
Seatpost size: 27.0mm
Road frames as large as this are really rather uncommon - this Woodrup built one from the mid 1980s is really rather nice. Its paint is in very useable condition though does have quite a number of marks. £145
TOWNSEND EASY TRAIL HYBRID FRAME Reynolds 531
Seat Tube (ctt): 22.5in (57cm)
Top Tube (ctc): 23in (58cm)
Rear dropout width: 126mm
Wheel size: 700C
Frame tubing: Reynolds 531 ATB
Seatpost size: 27.0mm
This 1980s hybrid frame built from Reynolds 531 ATB tubing will make an ideal tough commuter bike running on 700C wheels with cantilever or V-brakes. The paint is in very useable condition and thewhole frame is in very good condition. £53
