Stolen - Landrover MTB

Some mofos stole my mate's Landrover Carbon MTB - it's pretty distinctive as it is Landrover branded and full carbon.

If anyone sees someone riding it please take them out.

Surely your mate is minted. Land Rover bikes cost thousands don't they? Was it locked at all?

My mistake. Land Rover bicycles can actually be quite cheap. I had thought that luxury car makers that went into bike sales, did so at the top end of the market. I could only find one interesting Land Rover bike, and its a racer. The rest are pretty drab. Still, I've bumped this thread, so maybe if someone sees a Land Rover MTB......................

Mercedes is similar to Land Rover bikes, though higher priced, but BMW are on a much better track (excuse the pun) with their bicycles.

OT: who was it who said that when something is becoming obsolete, the design begins to look like it's replacement? or some such...

I'm intrigued about this bike... Looks like it's built by Volvo.

only had a quick look but couldn't find any reviews to see whether the XC or enduro bike are any cop though..

If i remember correctly those BMW bikes were a MASSIVE fail...?

A mate of mine had a red Porsche hardtail around the same time - it was a nice frame but nothing spectacular i don't think.

Should've seen the Lexus one, it have a belt drive transmission with a belt tensioner.

Yes it was locked, yes I am sure it's LR Carbon, yes it's a piece of shit apart from the frame, no he's not minted it cost FA, ta for link to the other thread.

he went to Brick Land and watched the thieves come and go with many, many, many bikes, but none were his.

I however went on Gumtree to have a look and came across an old bike of mine being sold! It was nicked about 2 years ago and even still had the Brookes saddle on it.

Are you going to do anything about it..?
