Wanted: Bikes needed as props for new Mark Ronson video

Hi,

My girlfriend is the prop buyer on an upcoming Mark Ronson video. She needs to hire several 'hero' bikes for the main shots and borrow for free numerous other non specific, nice looking bikes for the background shots.

Bikes needed:
In the vague hope that you might have one of the main bikes, here's the 'hero' list. You'll get paid for the hire/use. Ignore the crossed out Mark Ronson Vektar:

The 'extras' list which is where I'm guessing you're more likely to come in consists of about 20 non-specific bikes that are good looking, stylish and in decent condition for crowd scenes. There's unlikely to be any budget for the use of these.

So just to be clear....

......most music vid's are traditionally diabolical in the budget department and this one is no different. Honestly, they're fucking crap. You'll get paid if you have for hire one of the 'hero' bikes and it's in mint condition but generally she's looking to borrow for free as much as she can. As a gesture she'd like to make a donation to the forum (if there's any money left from the budget) via myself.

EDIT:
Her job just started today. This means that it's difficult to give an accurate idea of the hire price she might be able to pay for a 'hero' bike. Some bikes will inevitably cost more than others. She'll have a better idea of how the budget can be apportioned as the week progresses. Sorry if this is vague for now.

Dates & times:

The shoot happens next Monday August 2nd. Unfortunately bike owners can't come to the shoot.
Bikes will be collected this Friday July 30th by the props transport van and returned next Tuesday August 3rd.
Pick up/drop off times can be arranged with you via the props department on this email:

Damage to your bike is very unlikely but if it did happen then insurance is in place to cover it.

And in case you're wondering, this is all genuine, above board and definitely NOT an elaborate ruse to steal lots of nice bikes!

Ok thanks JD. Sounds really useful. I'm sure colour wouldn't be an issue on the Shwinn. If you have any pics of your bikes you could send them to my GF - she'll def get back to you in a couple of days with a hire price.

The bandwagon left years ago. Get with the program. Now anything promoting cycling is a good thing. It's not like they are asking for any fixie-skidders. And I like Mark Ronson.
