• I'm on my first few weeks of a new commute to. Also can't believe how quickly one gets into central London. Only have to do 5 miles each way though.

    I rode freewheel for the first week or so to get used to route and get some fitness up then switched to fixed. Made quite a difference to the work out and my legs were very sore after the first 5 days and still a little sore after the weekend's rest. Getting easier though (or maybe I should be going faster now).

    Loving it and definitely beats the overland Victoria line combination.
