  • Radio holder? Are you a courier?

No, he has to listen to the shipping forecast while riding as he's not allowed on bridges if the wind is above Force 5 in sea area Thames.

  • The Tornado in a somewhat rideable state... ;)

The Moscow-bars are a bit low on it, so I guess I'll use them for something else.. They where just the only bullhorns I had that fitted the Ergostem..

Also, the front wheel has a few cracks (nothing a bit of epoxy can't fix) so I'm a bit scared of going fast on it, but actually it feels allright at 35kph, and it feels a bit weird at low speeds..

  • Bad-da-man.
Thought you had some yellow 650c forks to go on it?

  • @haj - the position the ergostem is in, does it not lead you to a thought another stem could be used with far better function/rigidity? :) or what am i missing?..
also - i thought moscow's are more squarish in the part where they rise to the sky, no?

  • in any case, i do think this is one crazy frame! :)

  • Rosmal; No not really... :/ I will keep looking for better forks.. Could be straight aero aluminum like the ones that are on ebay all the time (just don't want to pay +100 euros), or just some older yellow straight ones... Something will show up eventually.

scorch; I do actually think it would be more useful with another stem yes... :) I only just hacked it together to try riding it.. And that was the stem I had :)

  • I got new wheels.

Rigida hard-anodized rims on Campagnolo Record Pista.

Max "I'll never sell my Phils" Crowe

Are those rims Ridga SHP 600's by any chance? If so, where d'you find them?

  • I heard u iz nothin in life unless you haz vintage steel with shiny campag kit hung on it.
So I jus built this. Cheers to Jim(billy) for the cablestops. Inaugural run - Dunwich tonight. Shit - best get going!

  • This is the frame I'm building up at the moment, nothing special but it fits ;)

  • My pretty rare michaello got new paint, decals and... frame (the last new old stock).
cost me almost two months without my city bike but i think that worth it.

  • two days later heres my frame stripped. couple of wee bits here and there to do but shes mostly there.

Cranks seem jammed on pretty tight, gonna bring it down to my local bike workshop and see if they can get them off.

Those aren't horizontal dropouts... Your gonna struggle to get chain tension with those babies. Unless your building a geared..?
