It's been much faster than that in the past!
I don't like doing a rotation at the end. It's nice when the final session turns into a scratch race and you can give it everything. The rotation never really sped up today, we got stuck behind the slow group on the last lap. Was disappointing. It's not all about speed, it's about technique and track craft for the intermediates. If you want to race go to Monday nights.

^ thats great to hear. Hopefully this years new format means that its easier for everyone to find their level, and stick with that session. If you want more, bigger, faster, stronger, then there's always a harder session to do.
Also remember, the weekend sessions are training sessions, aimed at fitness and skill. The Monday race training session, Wednesday track league and other weekend race meetings are where you get the chance to put that fitness and skill to the test.

i feel that i am improving loads, as before i was feeling that there was no challenge.
today i managed to finish always with the pack and the fast rotation rotation wasn't that slow...it got borderline fast when having to pass the slower group but i stuck to ie and made it in the end.
i am loving it.
i have been too lazy to attend mondays which i always regret but beers and park have won this summer.

What's the availability of the £2 hire Fujis like in the Saturday morning intermediate session?
I'm (nervously) contemplating making the move up from the novice session, but I've got pretty used to being able to ride a Fuji there and I'm not very keen to go back to the free bikes. Wasn't sure if busier session means less Fujis, or better riders means more people have their own bike.
Cheers

Advanced is on Sundays.
