Im not a massive fan of the big 'the bike decals' either, luckily they are stickers over the lacquer so easily removed

you write the bike is from a small Italian shop. Is it a Somec?

No, not a Somec. The shop is named 'The Bike' and is in Valmadrera not far from Milan. Not sure if they still produce frames but they used to do pretty high quality custom builds

For sale a small Italin built bike with full Corsa Record. The make of the bike is..'The Bike' and is from wht a can gather a small bike shop in Italy that also did custom builds. Columbus tubing. Nice lugs, engraving on fork crown and seatstay caps, internal cable routing, slotted BB shell. Great late 80's early 90s custom paintjob (pearlescent white/cream with airbrushing) by Dossena Carlo. Half chrome forks and rear triangle. Paint and chrome generally very good, some surface rust on underside of BB and a little on the underside of downtube.
