  • That's outrageous. I vote for the "art" you mentioned earlier in the thread. Alternatively, that Chris Morris "Brass Eye" would be interested. Anything to ruffle the feathers, eh?!

  • Acab

  • Keir Starmer, the director of public Prosecutions, said there was "no realistic prospect" of a conviction, because of a conflict between the two postmortems carried out after Tomlinson's death last year.
What a BS reason. Isn't that a confession of incompetence?

  • CPS is a complete waste of time and money.
The Menezes trial and this one show their complete lack of competence and willingness to prosecute the police. Surely this outcome was anticipated by all parties?

  • From the article:

Keir Starmer, the director of public Prosecutions, said there was "no realistic prospect" of a conviction, because of a conflict between the two postmortems carried out after Tomlinson's death last year.

Is that really the crucial 'reason'?

I seem to recall that the first postmortem was considered quite suspicious at the time and was certainly challenged strongly by the second.

  • Well the first was of a heart attack, then they used his alcohol damaged liver as part of a smear campaign against him, claiming he failed to follow police directions.

  • From the CPS report:

Members of the public came to his assistance, but Mr Tomlinson's condition deteriorated rapidly. Police and paramedics gave him first aid and sought to resuscitate him in the street and on the way to hospital but, regrettably, they were unsuccessful and Mr Tomlinson died.

What they fail to acknowledge despite many witnesses is that one of the protesters was a medical student and was attacked by police when she tried to help Tomlinson. They then refused to listen to her when the paramedics came, refusing to allow the paramedics (medical professionals) to even speak to her (trainee medical professional).

    And this is interesting too:

Common assault does not require proof of injury, but it is subject to a strict six month time limit. That placed the CPS in a very difficult position because enquiries were continuing at the six month point and it would not have been possible to have brought any charge at that stage.

Great, so they used a legal loophole to get the copper off the hook.

It's just astounding. And they get away with it, every time. And we put up with it, every time.

  • ^^^ will that prevent a private prosecution?

  • Metropolitan Police = cunts of the highest order!

  • And they can't even press for an assault charge cos it's not vaild after 6months or some bullshit - so the cunts wait a year

    YouTube- N.W.A FUCK DA POLICE

  • Can't (but can) believe it.
What are the chances of it getting turned over?

  • *Don't trust the police
    *
YouTube- the coup - pork and beef

  • So the police are now within their rights to murder anyone they wrongly suspect of being involved in a peaceful protest.

Anyone got details of any demonstrations being planned?

  • there's a protest in my pants but i cannot confirm whether or not there will be a stiff beating.
