It is with great sorrow that i have to sell this, but my knees are pretty fucked after 14 years of skateboarding and 3 of of riding fixed, and continuous knee pain and a doctors warning are enough to tell me that at 19 i dont want to fuck my knees up beyond repair when i have a long time left to enjoy them.
so i am selling both my fixed gear bikes, this one is going first, so i can free up some money.
Burls custom built Titanium 3AL-2.5V track frame. this is the only burls track frame with wishbone stays. undrilled at the back, and has tight clearance with a 28c tyre, but can also fit a 32 with the wheel pretty far back in the dropouts. I just went for a quick 10 minute spin, and all i could think is "why the hell am i selling this bike" i know im going to regret it for a long time. The Frame is a good stiffness, and very comefortable. Ti is a very different ride from carbon/ally.
seat tube C2C 58.2cm C2T 62.0cm
Top tube C2C 58cm
head tube 19.4 cm
head tube angle 73
seat tube angle 74
i asked the person who designed the geometry and sizing for me to make it a bike that would be comfortable enough for me to ride on all day, so the headtube is a little bit more slack than most track frames, which makes the handling very predictable, which i really like. NO TOE OVERLAP the frame is around 1400 grams with the seat collar if memory serves, but i can find out exactly on request. frame, fork headset and seat collar are around 1900grams.
