I'm looking to put together a road bike but know little about gruppos and wheels sets.
::What are opinions on factory built sets (like say, fulcrums) Vs custom builds (say Royce hubs laced to Mavic open pros), in terms of rider weight limits, longevity, durability?
::Any brands to stay away from? Any you think are particularly good?
::What is the deal with the far eastern carbon, pimp looking wheels sets all over ebay?
Had a little search but couldn't find much beyond pages and pages of classifieds.
