Eugene? I wouldn't say that to him though, makes seeing them quite an experience. Even their acoustic sets are genuinely unnerving

he's a really nice guy, I got him to sign an album for me at Supersonic a couple of years back. Talked about his book on fighting, which is a pretty good read
Edit: You need to check out Capricorns - The First Broken Promise from Ruder Forms Survive... it's got Eugene as a guest on it... great tune

That the set with O'Malley and Broadrick wasn't it? Wish I'd have gone to that, think I was out the country at the time though. Yeah he seems like a really nice guy, anyone who is so philosophical about beating the shit of out people is even more scary though

Actually, fuck! I went to it that year! Gravetemple were fucking epic, one of the loudest things I've ever heard. Only made it to the Sunday though, from (hazy) memories Asva and Orthodox were fucking amazing as well. Are you going this year? Swans, Godflesh and Napalm Death, oh yes!

Toying with this year as I really want to see Swans (Saw Godflesh at hellfest) but other than that the lineup isn't doing a lot for me... at present
