It seems methebmxer is trying a bit of crafty dibsmanship, Sam... rik and skoota will vouch for a true poloenger...

• #11
Ah my mistake, didn't mean to tread on anyones toes but saw the post show up while viewing "new posts" page. I don't play polo so if it was intended to go to a polo player then so be it.
-
• #12
you do play polo ... like a pig in a snow storm, but you i've seen you.
-
• #13
consider me un-dibsed then sammy dodger, although it seems I was undibsed by forum pressure for making a slight mistake. I do apologise.

I'll possibly take this. The frame I am using at the moment for polo is a teeny bit big for me (56) so the above might be of use. PM'd.

I'll second dibs that for a loaner bike for beginners polo if you don't want it Kev.
There's a couple of kids who want to play but don't have bikes. -
• #16
Ah ok then Joni, you can take it for that, I'll make do with what I've got. Go ahead and PM sammy dodger.
Let me know if you need a hand getting the crank off. I've got a ball joint separator that should do the trick.

Ah Kev, you're a gentleman. Thanks very much buddy, appreciate it. One of the kids had his bike stolen just as he'd built it, so good karma points all round.
Will defo need a hand matey, nice one.

Sorry, forgot to update the thread - Wicksie took the frame for use as a beginner's polo steed.

:)
Hi Polo peoples.
I've had this frame sitting in my shed for ages now, with seatpost and cranks siezed (stripped thread in drive side arm). I crashed it, and have ridden it since, but it bears the scars, with two large dents in the downtube.
It was a Paul Donohue, built of 631 and is 52x55
There is a Cane Creek S2 headset in it too. Chainring not included, sorry.
I don't know if this is of any use to anyone? If so, you can pick it up from SE23 and maybe buy the forum a pint?
