Getting my dredge on again but didn't want to start a new thread....
Am getting an annoying creak from my left crank and would really appreciate any advice if there's something I haven't checked.
Pretty sure it's coming from the crank as I can make the noise by moving the crank arm directly (which should rule out pedals and saddle / seatpost - even though I've regreased them all). It only makes the noise pushing forward - it won't creak if you push it back or squeeze it against the seat post. Have removed and replaced the crank - wear on the BB taper looks pretty even on all four sides. Took out the NDS BB cup (it's a cartridge BB) but that was still nicely greased. I can't make any creaking noise with the right crank.
Was planning on trying the crank arm off my other bike on there this evening to see if that changes it.
