I want to build a wheelset using some existing components I have. They're going to be for fattish tyres - happy to use a 'road rim' - not insanely fat, maybe 32 or 35. Question: I have some MA2 and some CXP14 ... which would give a better ride? I'm assuming MA2, even though they'll be of a lesser, older, constrution type, they'll have a more useful width for these tyres... but I like the idea of a deep section rim for rougher terrain like paths and very tame off road routes. Whaddya think?
