Talking up your ride again?
It is the most dangerous single stretch of pedestriacide in London's famous "the London", you don't need cliffs and middle class children on their 'year off' to break your cheek bone on a bicycle.
London rules.
Also other places rule.

**World's most dangerous road?
**has to be Temple Fortune (bit of Finchley Rd) in afternoon rush-hour, especially on a summer afternoon. -

Thanks hippy.
I sort of figured it would have been posted before, but I can see why searches didn't find any of the keywords I used.
Still, it looks like a scream to try. I'd love to give it a go. Although I'd advise not using your best ride maybe.

"Although only one rider with Gravity has had a fatal accident - a man in his 50s about two years ago - there are plenty of cuts and bruises. Roughly every fortnight, someone requires hospital treatment for an injury."
This reminds of Steve Coogan's pool supervisor ...
“In 1975, no-one died. In 1976, no-one died. In 1977, no-one died. In 1978, no-one died. In 1979, no-one died. In 1980, some one died. In 1981, no-one died. In 1982, there was the incident with the pigeon. In 1983, no-one died. In 1984, no-one died. In 1985, no-one died … I mean, I could go on.”
A mate of mine rode the 'death road' and said it was full of backpacker w*nkers.

I often hear the words "backpacker" and "wanker" in the same sentence.

did it with gravity earlier this year. Not technically that challenging as the road itself isn't very steep, just the cliffs off the side. Great fun, but if you're an experienced mountain biker they have lots of other trails that are more 'extreme', but not as spectacular.

southall high street

Depends what time of day - last time I went there, it was at 4:30am and was empty.

southall high street
Definitely, fucking ridiculous.

12000 feet over 40 miles. Surely it's more of a challenge to go up it? Not much to boast about really, just rolling down a hill and not falling off.

The most dangerous road in the world is " Highway One" in Afghanistan....

And what was he doing there then? Commuting to work?
No, it's not Vauxhall Cross...
I came across this by accident on the Net, can't find anything under the search, so thought it might be of interest to all you thrill-seekers out there. Hipsters need not apply.
