Wanted: Bike for a friend - 54cm - up to £250

Morning y'all

A friend's bike got stolen this weekend so he's on the hunt for a new one. :( He's checking eBay but would like a replacement sooner rather than later so, naturally, I thought of the forum! He has up to £250 to spend and would ideally like a racing bike with gears. I know £250 doesn't get you much but I figure someone must have something roadworthy lying around! If you've got something that fits that description drop me a line and I'll pass it on to him.

Morning Wools; I;ve got a bike that should be about spot on; bought it for hte other half but was a tad on the big side;

54cm Dawes 531 Competition frame+fork, 14speed 105 Drivetrain, Fresh tyres; fresh inner cables; new chain. All works sweet. Few minor rust patches, but nothing a good saturday and some elbow grease wouldnt get rid of!
