I spoke to my insurer yesterday, told me I'd lose 10% of my No claims (which stands at 25% discount) so the policy will go up by maybe £50. Plus the £100 excess. I have to get a value from a bike shop so I am hoping to get that sorted in the next day or two. The only issue is that my home & contents only insures bikes up to the value of £500.
So.... £500 - £100 excess = a cheque for £400 hopefully in the next week or two
