That's my point. If this is the same programme I saw (and I'm remembering correctly), a lot of the women seem to be living a self-fulfilling prophecy of the naive women and husband knows best. Spouting out BNP garbage because they've heard it enough times, but never doing it entirely convincingly.
They only really focussed on 3 or 4 women, most of them were older single women, 1 had a husband who was party manager and admitted that his views had affected her (but she was still a raving racist). The others were just a bit mad (self-proclaimed "cat woman") and very racist.
The bit I liked the most was when they were talking about "left wing operatives" being "sent to disrupt" their work when they were protesting against a new mosque being built. These "operatives" were just randoms off the street who didn't agree with them. They came across as a bit paraniod.
