When I go out into Essex, I don't tend to spend much time around Epping, e.g. not in Epping Forest, as I'm not a mountain biker. I go further east, across the valley of the River Roding, and then into the area between Chelmsford and Epping, roughly, sometimes up to Great Dunmow. However, I have to regain this habit after months off the bike.
