whats the point on beating up on people who give their all and try the hardest? He seems like a nice bloke, just the top men got the better of him this year, 18th isnt that bad in one of the hardest events going. I still think he's a pretty impressive person.

I hate seeing people rinse the likes of Henman and Beckham (...... and now Wiggins), why does laughing at them seem to make people feel so good about themselves? They all seem like nice people giving their best shot to something they want/enjoy and none were/are exactly shit.

(Finally, I seem to remember Vaughters being gutted to have lost Wiggins)

Not laughing at Wiggins but when you come out with comments like his infamous Wigan/Man Utd tweet and hype yourself up as a potential tour winner then 18th is undeniably shit.
